Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our attorneys across a variety of practice areas. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional client service while managing administrative and legal tasks in a fast-paced professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports with a high level of accuracy

Draft routine legal and business communications

Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, and deadlines

Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements

Process and distribute incoming and outgoing communications

Open, maintain, and close client files in accordance with firm policies

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and internal staff

Support billing and timekeeping processes, including proofreading invoices

Track CLE credits and assist attorneys with compliance deadlines

Assist with marketing and client relationship management efforts

Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives

Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience with document management systems and legal technology preferred
