Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lawn care and landscape maintenance, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and proficiency with various tools and equipment. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties through effective lawn care practices, landscaping, and general maintenance tasks.
Duties
- Perform lawn care services including mowing, fertilization, aeration, and weed control.
- Execute landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and tree trimming.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for various landscaping projects.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for plant health.
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
- Assist in hardscape installation including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their landscaping needs.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition through regular inspections and repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power equipment safely.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and gardening techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and maintenance is beneficial.
- Experience in construction or hardscape projects is an advantage.
