Registered Nurse Vascular & Interventional Radiology
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Per Diem RN Staffing Team for our Vascular & Interventional Radiology client. This role is essential in providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing minimally invasive vascular and image-guided procedures in an outpatient setting. One on one training provided. Must be dependable - if you commit to a shift and are confirmed, then you are expected to be present. Will work alongside scrub techs and office personnel. Procedures lead by MD. You will review patient consents, monitor vitals during procedures, administer IV mild to moderate sedation medications, antibiotics, IV fluids, Oxygen via NC or Mask if needed under direction of the MD. Paper documentation via flow sheet to record vitals and medications given during procedures. Low Stress / Friendly enviroment. Must be attentitive, professional, flexible and willing to assist the team in the best interest of patient care when needed.
Hours: Day shift - Mon-Thursdays only. No Fridays, weekends, Holidays or on-call. Start Times vary between 730am or 830am depending on the types of cases for the day will end after the last case is complete and patient is discharged. Typical 8hr to 10hr days. Some days offered are half days in addition to the 2 full days per week. Hours are NOT guarenteed - scheduling depends on cases scheduled. This is a PRN that is staffed soley through Eternal Medical Services.
Pay Range: $39.00 - $42.00 / hr

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-operative assessments, including medical history review, patient education, and informed consent verification.
Start and manage IV lines, administer medications, and monitor vitals.
Prepare patients and procedure rooms for interventional procedures.
Provide moderate IV sedation under the supervision and direction of the physician.
Assist the physician with venous and arterial peripheral interventions and other radiologic procedures.
Monitor and care for patients during post-procedure recovery, ensuring safe discharge criteria are met.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of GA - uncumbered license
Must reside in Georgia and live within 60 miles (local) of work location
BLS and ACLS certification (required)
MUST be able to read cardiac rhythms while on the Zoll Monitor
Prior experience in interventional radiology, pre-op/recovery, OR, ICU, Emergency Department, Cath Lab or vascular procedures preferred
Strong IV skills and comfort with moderate IV sedation
Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
Must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
