Calling All Superhero Pediatric Dental Assistants!
Our growing pediatric dental practice is looking for a friendly, energetic Pediatric Dental Assistant with Expanded functions who loves working with children and being part of a positive, team-centered environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist dentist during pediatric procedures
- Help children feel comfortable, safe, and confident
- Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate charting
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene
- Provide chairside behavior guidance and reassurance to children
- Maintain a clean, organized, and upbeat clinical area
Qualifications:
- Expanded functions Dental Assistant (EFDA/EFD) Certification
- Nitrous, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and love for working with kids
- Pediatric dental assistant experience preferred
