As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you'll play an integral role in supporting our providers and delivering exceptional care that improves the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
What We're Looking For:
Education: High School or GED, required. Candidates will provide proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries including: • CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) • CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA) • RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT) • American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA) • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) • American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). If a candidate is not currently certified, they must obtain certification or registration by the end of the sixth month of their hire and sign an education agreement.
Experience: Previous work in a medical office, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required

Current State Drivers License (Palliative Care Only), required
Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
What You'll Do:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) coordinates and assists providers to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care for the practice population. This role supports clinical operations by preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures, coordinating care, and promoting an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced pediatric and internal medicine practice.
