We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our pediatric home care services in the Maryland area. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with pediatric experience who enjoys both direct patient care and clinical leadership.
As our Pediatric RN Clinical Supervisor, you will oversee the pediatric department, provide clinical supervision to our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and ensure our pediatric patients receive the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the pediatric home care department.
- Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and support to LPNs.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and ensure quality outcomes.
- Complete supervisory visits and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with Maryland home care regulations, agency policies, and clinical standards.
- Participate in staff orientation, training, and ongoing clinical education.
- Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland.
- Minimum of one (1) year of pediatric nursing experience (Required).
- Previous home health or pediatric home care experience is preferred.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
