Position Summary
We are currently hiring a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver for a dedicated temp-to-hire opportunity based in Coppell, TX. This position offers consistent overnight routes, no-touch freight, competitive pay, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
Job Responsibilities
- Depart from Coppell, TX at 11:45 PM each scheduled workday.
- Drive to Oklahoma to complete a drop-and-hook trailer exchange.
- Return to Coppell, TX to pick up a second trailer.
- Deliver the second trailer to a designated Texas location for another drop-and-hook.
- Return to Coppell, TX to complete the route.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Operate equipment safely while delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Hazmat (H) Endorsement required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Class A CDL driving experience preferred
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment requirements, including drug screening and background check
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism
- Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain consistent attendance
