Titus Transport is seeking an experienced, proactive Logistics Coordinatorto join our growing team in Lynchburg, VA. In this role, you won’t just be inputting data—you will be the central command hub for our local supply chain operations, ensuring that our fleet moves with precision, efficiency, and professionalism.

- Schedule: Shift options and flexibility will be determined during the interview process in coordination with the local Terminal Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Real-Time Fleet Dispatching: Efficiently coordinate asset-based driver assignments, manage load scheduling, and monitor the live tracking of fleet vehicles and high-value freight across the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Strategic Driver Communication: Act as the primary lifeline and hub for our CDL drivers and internal stakeholders. Ensure clear, professional, and timely information flow via digital channels and phone to keep the fleet moving safely.
- Route Optimization & Efficiency: Collaborate on dynamic route planning to maximize fuel efficiency, bypass transit delays, and consistently meet strict, time-sensitive delivery windows.
- Autonomous Problem Solving: Independently navigate sudden logistical challenges—such as weather disruptions, equipment breakdowns, or scheduling shifts—and pivot operations seamlessly to maintain zero downtime.
- Data Integrity & Compliance: Maintain meticulous digital records of operational paperwork, driver hours of service (HOS) data, freight metrics, and asset status utilizing our tracking software and Microsoft Excel.
Position Qualifications
- Proven Transportation Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of dedicated experience in fleet dispatching, commercial transportation coordination, or freight logistics. Experience handling fast-paced grocery, dairy, or refrigerated freight is highly valued.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced comfort operating fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), and the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically intermediate to advanced Excel and Outlook).
- High-Pressure Execution: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of maintaining a calm, tactical, and authoritative demeanor in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Elite Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to "talk shop" with drivers on the yard and collaborate effectively with terminal leadership.
- Education: High School Diploma required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Logistics, Business, or a related field is a distinct advantage.
