Overview
Join our cardiology practice as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, where your expertise in cardiac imaging and diagnostics will make a vital difference in patient care. In this role, you will perform advanced ultrasound procedures to assess cardiac function, perform stress testing, and contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive echocardiography examinations, including transthoracic and stress tests, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis.
- Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment such as vascular ultrasound devices, Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and other diagnostic tools.
- Analyze cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and physiological data to support clinical decision-making during diagnostic evaluations.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to deliver prompt, precise imaging services.
- Document all procedures thoroughly, including technical findings and patient information, adhering to medical terminology standards and clinic protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience performing echocardiography, cardiac stress tests in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology related to cardiovascular systems, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic sonography.
- Experience operating advanced medical equipment such as ultrasound machines, PACS systems, and other cardiovascular technology tools.
- Prior work in health care settings such as hospitals and busy clinics is preferred.
