Duties
- Prepare patients for aesthetic consultations and treatments
- Assist providers during procedures and treatments
- Learn and operate aesthetic treatment equipment after completing company training
- Educate patients on treatment options, pre-care, and post-care instructions
- Maintain treatment rooms and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and prepared
- Take patient photos and maintain accurate records as permitted by practice policies
- Assist with creating marketing content, including photos and videos for social media platforms
- Help record treatment demonstrations,Marketing content, patient testimonials, and educational videos (with appropriate patient consent)
- Support front-office duties, scheduling, and patient communication as needed
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to provide comprehensive patient support.
- Proven experience in dermatology clinics, urgent care centers, or hospital settings including Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or OR (Operating Room).
- Strong proficiency with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions such as scheduling and ICD coding.
- Ability to perform intake assessments efficiently while demonstrating excellent patient service skills in diverse populations including geriatrics and internal medicine patients.
- Skilled in vital signs measurement, medication administration, X-ray assistance, and emergency medicine protocols including Basic Life Support certification.
- Experience working within inpatient environments or Level I/II trauma centers enhances your ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of hospital medicine practices across outpatient settings ensures smooth coordination of care from initial intake through discharge or follow-up care.
