Title Processor/Closer
Job Description
A Title Processor/Closer is responsible for working on real estate closing files from beginning to end, including, but not limited to: reviewing the contract, ordering title search, ordering lien search, communicating with lender, communicating with real estate agents, requesting payoffs, prepare Closing Disclosure or HUD1, prepare closing documents and conduct closings. Must have the ability to balance the workload to accommodate demands of the job and exceed customer expectations working with your team in a busy work environment.
Essential Functions
- Conducting closings and ensuring buyer and seller sign the appropriate documents
- Handle inbound and outbound phone calls, establishing clear communication of closing timeline with customers
- Be able to multi-task in a deadline driven environment
- Coordinate receipt and shipment of signed loan packages in accordance with lender closing instructions
- Support marketing efforts for new business; develop continuing relationships
- Meet departmental production metrics
- Comprehensive understanding of pay off per diems & tax prorations, interest, HOA’s, etc.
- Comprehension of lender requirements and documentation
- Must be trustworthy and be able to work independently, with the desire to learn and keep up-to-date with industry changes
- Handle fast-paced work in a team environment
Education and Experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, high volume title operation
- The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ related experience in escrow procedures, closing, or title activities
- Experience using and familiarity with (Qualia) software platforms, industry relevant web and Agency sites
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
