Cashier – Ben's Pizza | The Florida Mall (Orlando)
Job Summary
Ben's Pizza is looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Cashiers to join our team at The Florida Mall (Orlando). As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional customer service.
In this fast-paced food court environment, you'll take customer orders, process payments, prepare beverages, assist with food packaging, and help keep the front of the restaurant clean, organized, and fully stocked. We are looking for dependable team members who enjoy working with people and thrive in a busy restaurant setting.
Whether you have previous restaurant experience or are looking to begin your hospitality career, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system.
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
- Answer guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and promotions.
- Package food orders accurately for dine-in, takeout, and third-party delivery services.
- Prepare fountain drinks and assist with other front counter duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked front counter and dining area.
- Restock beverages, paper goods, sauces, and other front-of-house supplies throughout the shift.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and cash reconciliation.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order completion.
- Help maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Support teammates in creating an outstanding guest experience during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, customer service, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
