American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a NICU position requiring at least 2 years of NICU experience, Epic proficiency, and night shift availability.

Work in the NICU of an acute care hospital setting
-
Average daily census of 30 patients with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
-
Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:45–07:15
-
Every other weekend coverage required
-
Floating required to Mother Baby and Pediatrics units

Epic EMR experience required
-
Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA certifications required: BLS and NRP

Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required for previous travelers; minimum 3 years required for first-time travelers

Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

First-time travelers are welcome to apply with at least 3 years of NICU experience

Upon assignment acceptance, you may be assigned to an emergency team by your unit manager, which may require remaining at or returning to the facility during an emergency event

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
