Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate wait times clearly via phone and in person
- Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with reservation inquiries and guest questions
- Coordinate seating arrangements, ensuring optimal table utilization and guest satisfaction
- Support guest relations by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold food safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred, with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems.
- Experience in food service or hospitality environments is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of guest services and restaurant operations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner
- Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and table counts accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant protocols to ensure a safe dining environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive guest interactions

Pay: $25.30 - $30.47 per hour
