Casey Jones' Restaurant at Paradise Station needs an experienced cook to assist with breakfast / lunch / dinner service.
The cook is responsible for executing food production and ensuring a high level of quality and service for each service. The cook reports to the Kitchen Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepares made to order food for breakfast, lunch, dinner
- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and orderly kitchen in line with health code regulations
- Ensures food quality is high and prepared to order
- Prep all necessary breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes and ingredients
- Takes stock of inventory and provides feedback to Kitchen Manager
- Transitions from breakfast to lunch/dinner service
- 2-3 years minimum experience in a similar position
- Ability to run and maintain breakfast, lunch, and dinner service effectively and independently when needed
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment as the situation dictates
- ServSafe Certification a plus
- Experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Banquet and/or catering experience a plus
Full-time and PT position available. Primarily hiring for Breakfast/Lunch at this time.
Pay is determined by your level of experience and proficiency. Must have minimum of 2-3 years of fast casual restaurant cooking experience. A cooking interview will be required to determine your level of proficiency and pay rate. Top dollar paid for "Major league culinary all-stars."
Bonus opportunity available for referring other cooks, team members.
Must have own reliable transportation (Casey's is not on the RRTA bus route).
