Overview
Anchora Osteria & the SY Kitchen Team are preparing to open our doors in beautiful Montecito, and we're looking for energetic, hospitality-driven Bussers, Food Runners, and Baristas to join our opening team.
These roles are essential to creating an exceptional guest experience by supporting seamless service throughout the restaurant. Whether you're delivering dishes with precision, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining room, crafting quality espresso beverages, or assisting the front-of-house team, you'll play a vital part in the success of our opening. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your hospitality career while helping launch a brand-new restaurant from day one.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, friendly, and attentive hospitality to every guest
- Deliver food quickly and accurately while maintaining presentation and quality standards
- Clear, reset, and maintain dining tables throughout service
- Keep dining rooms, service stations, and guest areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Prepare espresso, coffee, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards (Barista)
- Assist servers and bartenders to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team regarding orders and guest needs
- Refill water, clear plates, and anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work responsibilities
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Food runner, busser, café, or barista experience is a plus
- Positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays throughout a shift
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

We're hosting Open Call Interviews Monday through Wednesday, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the restaurant.

Pay: $16.90 - $35.00 per hour
