Tugger/Forklift Operator
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour → $19.00/hour after hire-on (3–6 months)
Location: Honda Facility (Must be eligible for Honda badge access)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Tugger/Forklift Operator to support Honda's growing production and recycling operations. This position is primarily responsible for material movement throughout the facility, operating a tugger approximately 90% of the workday and a forklift approximately 10% of the workday. Additional duties include operating a plastic-shredding machine, supporting recycling routes, and assisting with warehouse and production activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a tugger for approximately 90% of daily duties to transport materials throughout the facility
- Operate a forklift for approximately 10% of daily duties as needed for material handling and loading activities
- Operate a plastic-shredding machine and support facility recycling operations
- Safely operate pallet jacks and Big Joe equipment
- Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues or abnormalities
- Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments when necessary
- Scrap, stock, load, and move recycling materials
- Receive, sort, stage, and process incoming and outgoing materials
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company and Honda safety procedures and operational standards
Qualifications
Required
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift experience required
- Experience operating tuggers and Big Joe equipment
- Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or machine-operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be eligible to obtain a Honda facility badge
Preferred
- Experience in recycling operations or material handling
- Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
