Beach Creek TRC is looking for a LPT/LVN/COTA to join our mental health team. We are currently hiring for the 12-8:30pm shift.
Must have LVN, LPT or COTA license to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health conditions
- Lead in the development and implementation of treatment plans
- Lead Therapeutic Groups
- Monitor and document patient progress and behavior
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct group therapy sessions and facilitate therapeutic activities
- Assist with medication management and administration
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed
- Participate in discharge planning and coordination of aftercare services
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions, particularly children
- Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and its use in mental health treatment
- Familiarity with electronic medical record system Point Click Care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Understanding of behavioral health principles and interventions
- Lead therapeutic groups
