Responsibilities
- Record, organize, store, and maintain inventory for products, supplies, or equipment. This includes monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors when supplies are running low
- Support the movement of materials within the manufacturing facility using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Inspect incoming shipments to ensure items are in good condition and match the expected quantities. Record details of received items in a computerized system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the production process
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to operational procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and troubleshoot minor issues with inventory and production
- Support inventory management by tracking parts, tools, and finished products within the warehouse or storage areas
- Create and produce stencils for finished containers ensuring sizes and data is correct
- Create and produce data plates for finished containers
Experience
- Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Prior knowledge of Microsoft office and other computer software is a plus
- Warehouse experience involving forklift operation is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing helps in understanding equipment functions and troubleshooting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout shifts
