What You'll Do
- Assist the dentist during restorative, cosmetic, and general dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure clinical readiness throughout the day
- Take high-quality dental radiographs and digital impressions
- Fabricate temporary restorations when needed
- Perform coronal polishing as permitted by certification
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
- Accurately chart procedures and update patient records
- Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care
- Help create a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience
- Current Arizona radiography certification
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and clinical workflows
- Strong communication and patient service skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Preferred
- Experience with Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft
- Coronal Polishing Certification
- Experience with same-day dentistry and digital workflows
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience in a family or general dentistry practice
Compensation
