Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Refurbishing & IT Equipment Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role is the final step in our refurbishing process—making sure each laptop, desktop, or IT device is thoroughly cleaned, polished, and ready for delivery. Your attention to detail will directly impact how our products are presented to customers.
Responsibilities
- Clean, detail, and prepare laptops, desktops, and assorted IT equipment before shipment.
- Ensure each product meets SurfaceTek’s quality and presentation standards.
- Inspect devices for cosmetic issues and report any findings to the refurbishing team.
- Organize finished products for packaging and delivery.
- Follow safety and cleaning procedures for various types of equipment.
- Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly output goals.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail — quality and presentation matter in this role.
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Prior experience in electronics refurbishing or cleaning is a plus, but not required (training provided).
