Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Home Health Aide to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patients’ health status, recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate medical documentation
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other cognitive impairments, including memory care strategies
- Assist with catheter care, hospice support, and end-of-life care as needed with sensitivity and professionalism
- Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning tasks to promote a safe and comfortable environment
Skills
- Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize changes in health or behavior
- Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and basic life support (CPR/First Aid) procedures
- Compassionate caregiving skills for working with geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or dementia care
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients’ families and healthcare teams while maintaining HIPAA compliance
