The selected candidate will join a successful, busy office of engineers, planners, and architects in support of public and private sector projects throughout Arizona and surrounding states.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work under the guidance of licensed professional engineers on a variety of civil engineering projects, including:
- Assist with the design of water, sewer, storm drainage, and gas pipeline systems.
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare supporting documentation.
- Assist with drainage studies, hydraulic analyses, design, and technical reports.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with project team members, clients, and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Conduct field visits to project sites throughout Arizona and surrounding states to collect data, observe construction, and support project activities.
- Support a variety of municipal and land development engineering projects.
- Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or expected graduation by start date).
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads or InRoads, FLO-2D, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
