Mak Rentals is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to lead our growing renovation team.
Unlike many construction companies, we don't build for outside clients. We renovate and build our own investment properties, allowing us to focus on craftsmanship, efficiency, and quality without the constant pressure of homeowner change orders.
We purchase distressed homes, transform them into beautiful high-end residences, and operate them as luxury vacation homes. We are also expanding into new residential construction. Every project is one we own and take pride in.

About Mak Rentals
Mak Rentals is a locally owned real estate investment and construction company based in Statesville, NC. As a licensed North Carolina General Contractor, we renovate and build properties throughout Statesville, Mooresville, Denver, Lake Norman, Mount Holly, and surrounding areas.
We are known for creating some of the most unique and high-quality homes in the region.
Responsibilities
As our Residential Construction Superintendent, you will:
- Lead and supervise a construction crew.
- Coordinate subcontractors and daily jobsite activities.
- Schedule and prioritize work to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets our high standards for craftsmanship and quality.
- Purchase day-to-day jobsite materials as needed.
- Communicate project progress directly with ownership.
- Maintain safe, organized, and professional jobsites.
- Work alongside the crew when necessary.
Our projects include:
- Framing & carpentry
- Drywall
- Interior & exterior painting
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC coordination and minor repairs
- Flooring
- Concrete
- Landscaping
- Property setup (furniture, fixtures, final details)
- General residential renovations from start to finish

Requirements
- Proven experience leading residential construction projects.
- Ability to supervise employees while working alongside the crew when needed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with high standards of workmanship.
- Self-motivated with the initiative to identify and solve problems.
- Flexible and willing to tackle whatever is needed to complete the project.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
- Clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Personal everyday tools (drill, tape measure, hammer, etc.). Most specialty tools are provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
