Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as an (Mid level) Tour Bus auto body/ Mechanic and an all around technician. Applicant must have working knowledge able to perform body work and paint, fiberglass, welding, fabrication and more. This mid level apprentice must be able to perform auto body repairs, paint and fiberglass while being proficient performing mechanical tasks. Works under the supervision of journey-level technicians and must be able to perform tasks without constant supervision. Must have their own tools and will be responsible for repairing techniques, performing preventative maintenance, assisting with complex collisions, general shop tasks like shop maintenance, cleaning, and fabricating with wood, metal, fiberglass and other medias.
Duties
- Conduct auto body repairs on various vehicle components including fiberglass.
- Execute collision repairs including structural, fiberglass and paint.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks with knowledge of hand tools.
- Must have their own tools with strong core knowledge to be effective in disassembly, repairs, and reassemble vehicle systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before returning to the road.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
