Job Overview
Berkshire Dental Associates in Wyomissing is a doctor owned practice serving the patients of Berks County for over 30 years. We are seeking a full-time RDH to join our team, working in collaboration with other hygienists and team members for a patient focused experience. Great salary with benefit package and bonus opportunity. We offer 60 minutes for all routine care appointments, as well as 90 minutes for new patients, which provides the time to build trust and treat the patient in a comprehensive way. Hours: Monday- Thursday 8 am to 5pm. No nights or weekends.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough preventive care, including prophylaxis, fluoride, sealants, and patient education.
- Proactively identify early disease and risk factors using diagnostic tools and assessments.
- Accurately diagnose and treat periodontal disease, including scaling and root planing, maintenance therapy, and adjunctive services.
- Partner with doctors on treatment planning to ensure consistency and best outcomes.
- Data collection including IO photos and necessary radiographs in order to present treatment clearly and confidently to patients, addressing questions and concerns in a supportive manner.
Qualifications
- New Grads Welcome!
- Valid Dental Hygiene License in PA
- Anesthesia License Preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
