Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in apartments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues
- Repair or replace defective parts or components
- Test system performance using specialized tools and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Leadership skills to guide junior technicians when necessary
- Welding experience for fabrication or repair work
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance
