Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and handling standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly.
- Manage POS systems for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, perform basic math for change calculation, and accurately record sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote a safe environment.
Skills
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings with strong knowledge of food industry standards.
- Proficiency with POS systems experience with cashiering and retail math is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without sacrificing quality.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and inventory management.
- Experience in catering or banquet environments is desirable; familiarity with food industry terminology enhances service delivery.
