We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our healthcare team in Atlanta, GA. The ADON will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations and staff supervision.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to nursing and patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Coordinate staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment among nursing staff.
- Monitor patient care quality and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for the nursing department.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, administration, and other healthcare professionals.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and healthcare standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
