Duties
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and staff management
- Supervise daily shift activities, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Train, mentor, and develop team members in food handling, customer service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile registers at shift end
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and participating in staff training & development initiatives
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on casual dining or fine dining settings
- Demonstrated supervising experience with team leadership responsibilities in hospitality or food industry roles
- Strong background in food production, culinary techniques, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Experience in managing inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management
- Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks including staff training, team management, and customer service excellence
- Prior assistant manager experience preferred; candidates with catering or banquet experience are encouraged to apply
