Overview:
STAR Physical Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant in New Orleans, LA. A full-time position with 40 hours per week is available. Candidates with part-time availability will also be considered.
The ideal candidate should be personable with good communication skills.
New grad Physical Therapist Assistants will be supported and mentored.
Caseload / Patient Population:
The Physical Therapist Assistant hired will work in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, treating patients of all ages. The caseload will focus primarily on general orthopedic conditions with a secondary emphasis on vestibular rehabilitation. The clinician will be part of a supportive clinical team.
Full-time PTAs should expect to treat about 40 patients per week.
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for this position is in the range of $28 - $30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Benefits include health insurance, two weeks of paid vacation, one week of paid sick time, and a 401k plan.
Work Schedule:
The clinic is open Monday-Friday. No weekends. No major holidays!

Eligible for LA state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
