Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations.
- Install appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and more, following manufacturer guidelines and schematics.
- Conduct appliance repairs and troubleshooting on-site, utilizing mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to diagnose issues.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assemble or repair appliances accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine maintenance and equipment repair on delivery tools and installation gear to maintain optimal operation.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely service completion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair, service technician roles, or field service environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
- Electrical experience and familiarity with refrigeration or HVAC systems are highly desirable.
- Previous delivery driver experience, especially operating box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Skilled in assembly, equipment repair, and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining safety standards. Pay: $130.00 - $175.00 per day
