We are seeking a reliable, efficient, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a hotel with exterior corridor rooms. This position requires the ability to manage time effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards within 20–25 minutes per room
- Maintain cleanliness in up to 25 rooms per day during peak season (average 15–20 rooms)
- Restock supplies and report maintenance issues as needed
- Navigate exterior corridors and multiple staircases (no elevators)
- Work independently and manage time efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Communicate effectively with management and team when necessary
- Adhere to hotel safety and hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Must be physically able to climb stairs and be on feet for extended periods
- Proven ability to clean efficiently and meet daily room quotas
- Attention to detail without compromising speed and efficiency
- Ability to work autonomously and stay on schedule
- Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude
- Prior housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus
Additional Information:
- Basic room setup with minimal amenities (not a luxury property)
- 30-day probationary period to assess performance, time management, and cleanliness standards
Continued employment contingent on meeting expectations consistently
