Ourian Plastic Surgery, a busy Beverly Hills plastic surgery practice, is seeking an experienced, personable, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
This is a front-office and administrative position focused on patient communication, scheduling, appointment coordination, and maintaining a polished, efficient office experience.
Candidates should have prior experience working in a medical setting. Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, cosmetic medicine, med spa, or a similar field is strongly preferred.
Position Overview
The Front Desk Receptionist is often the first point of contact for our patients and plays an important role in creating a professional, welcoming, and organized office environment.
The ideal candidate is warm, polished, sociable, dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive. They should be comfortable communicating with patients by phone, text, and in person, managing a busy schedule, and staying on top of administrative tasks without constant supervision.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
- Answer phones and respond to patient messages and inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate appointments
- Maintain an organized and accurate daily office schedule
- Collect and update patient information and required documentation
- Assist with paperwork, scanning, filing, and general administrative tasks
- Communicate appointment details and routine instructions to patients
- Coordinate with the clinical team regarding scheduling and patient needs
- Stock and maintain exam rooms and office supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and reception area
- Support day-to-day office operations and help ensure a smooth patient experience
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare environment required
- Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, cosmetic medicine, med spa, or a similar field strongly preferred
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional, polished, and patient-friendly demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy office environment
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Comfortable using electronic medical records, scheduling systems, email, and standard office software
- Able to communicate professionally and discreetly with patients regarding confidential information
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 per week
Work Location: In person
