Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding their treatment plans, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will ensure a smooth patient experience from consultation through treatment completion.
Duties
- Review and explain detailed dental treatment plans, ensuring patients understand their procedures, costs, and insurance coverage.
- Verify insurance benefits, including Medical, and private insurance plans, to facilitate accurate billing and payment processes.
- Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, coordinating with clinical staff for efficient patient flow.
- Maintain accurate documentation review of patient records, treatment notes, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering multi-line phone systems professionally, handling intake procedures, and supporting front desk operations with clerical tasks such as filing and data entry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental office management or medical administrative support within a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and health information management systems like Eaglesoft.
- Very IMPORTANT be on time for work. Realiable.
- Experience with insurance verification processes, medical billing, coding (CPT and ICD), and documentation review.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; typing speed of at least 10 key digits per minute is desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette expertise and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Clinic or dental office experience is essential; familiarity with dental office software like Eaglesoft is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Have at least 5 years of experience.
