Stone and Light Elder Companionship is seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to join our team serving older adults, hospice clients, and individuals recovering from illness or injury throughout the Omaha area.

This position requires weekend availability. Applicants should be available to work Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Additional weekday hours may be available, but weekend availability is the primary need for this role.
A typical shift may involve preparing meals, assisting with personal care, participating in hobbies or activities, providing companionship, helping around the home, offering transportation assistance, or simply being a calm and reassuring presence throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Participate in activities, hobbies, and conversation with clients
- Promote independence while providing appropriate support
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and management
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment
- Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality
Qualifications
- 19 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Dependable attendance and strong sense of responsibility
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Caring, patient, and professional demeanor
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
