POSITION TITLE: QA Inspector
DEPARTMENT: Quality
REPORTS TO: Supervisor, QA
SCHEDULE: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To assure that all incoming materials and outgoing products are compliant with all compendial and in-house requirements. To assure that manufacturing and packaging operations are performed as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Inspect incoming labels and cartons for accuracy and completeness.
· Inspect incoming packaging materials for accuracy and completeness.
· Perform Line Clearances for Manufacturing, Compression, and Packaging
· Perform in process testing for Compression (hardness, weight, friability, thickness)
· Perform in process checks for Packaging (count, container, seal, label, etc.)
· Adhere to all cGMP requirements and document all work
QUALIFICATIONS
· Prior cGMP experience preferred
· 1-2 Years QA experience within the Pharmaceutical or other controlled Industry preferred
· High school diploma or GED
· Ability to work independently
