Join our team as a Bartender / Guest Experience Team Member inside our exciting escape room venue! This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for hospitality with interactive entertainment. You'll craft great drinks, create memorable guest experiences, and be cross-trained on the escape room side of the business.
When the bar slows down, the fun doesn't stop—you'll jump in as a Game Master, greet guests, explain game rules, reset escape rooms, and help create an unforgettable experience from start to finish. No two shifts are ever the same!
We're looking for someone who is excited to help grow our bar program, bring fresh ideas to the table, think creatively about increasing traffic, and become an important part of our team as we continue to expand.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and quality.
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
- Learn and perform Game Master responsibilities, including briefing guests, monitoring games, providing hints, and celebrating successful escapes.
- Greet guests, assist with check-in, and ensure every group has an amazing experience.
- Reset escape rooms between games to keep them running smoothly and on schedule.
- Operate the POS system accurately for bar and guest transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar while following all food and beverage safety standards.
- Restock inventory and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Stay knowledgeable about drinks, specials, events, and promotions while confidently upselling.
- Contribute creative ideas for themed cocktails, events, promotions, and ways to increase bar traffic and guest engagement.
- Work as part of a collaborative team, stepping in wherever needed to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending or restaurant experience is preferred, but we value personality, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with groups of all ages.
- Creative mindset with an interest in helping build and grow our bar program.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Reliable, adaptable, and excited to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
