Lloyd Pest Control is hiring a full-time Pest Control Service Technician for our Van Nuys office. No pest control experience is required—we provide paid training, help you earn your state license, and give you the tools to succeed.
This is an active, hands-on job for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, meeting customers, and being somewhere different throughout the day.
What the Job Actually Looks Like
You’ll drive a company vehicle to homes and businesses throughout the Van Nuys area. At each stop, you’ll inspect the property, figure out what is causing the pest problem, safely perform the appropriate service, and explain your recommendations to the customer.
Your day may include:
- Inspecting homes and businesses for pest activity
- Identifying pest problems and determining the right solution
- Applying pest-control products safely and responsibly
- Setting traps, removing webs, and treating problem areas
- Explaining services and prevention tips to customers
- Keeping accurate service records
- Building relationships with customers on your assigned route
This is not a desk job. You’ll be driving, walking, lifting, climbing ladders, and occasionally entering attics, crawl spaces, and other tight areas where pests hide. You must be comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license
- At least five years of licensed driving experience
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable climbing, crawling, bending, and working in tight spaces
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers
