PRN MRI Technologist
Texas Imaging Partners is seeking a dependable and patient-focused PRN MRI Technologist to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced technologist looking for flexible hours while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient imaging center.
Our facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art Ultra-Wide Bore 3T MRI, offering a comfortable experience for patients while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety by following all MRI screening and safety procedures.
- Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions to provide a positive experience.
- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal image quality.
- Monitor image quality and repeat sequences when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, referring providers, and office staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the MRI suite.
- Follow HIPAA and all applicable regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- ARRT (MR) certification required.
- Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license required.
- BLS certification preferred.
- Minimum of one year of MRI experience preferred.
- Experience with a 3T MRI system is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Schedule
- PRN / As Needed
- Weekday, evening, and weekend availability preferred.
