About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep and efficient operation of our facility and equipment. In this role, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your expertise in electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems will be crucial in maintaining production schedules and facility needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance on facility equipment to adhere to the maintenance schedule and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions to maintain manufacturing operations.
- Perform general facility maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs, to ensure a safe and functional environment.
- Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment, addressing both mechanical and electrical components.
- Monitor and support all safety requirements, providing immediate feedback to maintain a safe working environment.
- Track preventative maintenance, orders, and equipment activities to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using electrical schematics, multimeters, and equipment manuals to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and standards, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out.
- Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in automated manufacturing environments.
