Chelsea Cannabis Co., is a CAURD-licensed dispensary located in NYC’s historic Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, New York. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer experiences. Our goal is to normalize cannabis use through safe and informed utilization, enhancing the quality of life for our customers. We navigate a diverse selection of high-quality products, consumption methods, and precision dosing frameworks, ensuring each customer discovers cannabis in their own way.
Our founder, was a legacy operator, tech innovator, and now licensed CAURD applicant by the State of New York who has partnered with Housing Works, an organization that serves as a beacon of hope in the fight against AIDS and homelessness here in NYC.

We’re seeking candidates who are passionate about music, art, design, culture, and of course, cannabis. Confidence, dedication, and integrity are essential qualities we look for.
While basic cannabis product knowledge is preferred, a willingness to learn is a must. Strong conversational skills and prior customer service experience are ideal, but not required.

Job Requirements:

Legally authorized to work in Cannabis in New York

Prior retail or customer service experience is an asset

Want to grow and develop Sales and Customer Service skills

Intermediate-level math skills

This role requires the candidate to be at least 21 years and older

Cannabis knowledge or dispensary experience.

Knowledge of marijuana strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and current products on the market

Experience up selling and cross selling in b2c environments - fashion, beauty, nightlife, marketing, etc.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service before, during and after the sales experience

Develop and maintain knowledge of all cultivars and products in store inventory

Attend ongoing product knowledge training sessions, become an expert in cannabis products

Stay abreast of all operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Ensure satisfaction of all customers in the retail experience, focusing on increasing customer loyalty

Understand and fully implement our customer service program, showcasing exemplary customer service, including but not limited to greeting, saying thank you, explaining policies clearly and politely to the satisfaction of the customer, and by prioritizing assisting customers over all other shop tasks.
