Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Automotive General Service Technician / Lube, State Inspector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform essential vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid replacements. You will also conduct state inspections and assist with automotive diagnostics and repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while delivering exceptional service to our customers.
10 hour shift
Monday to Friday
No weekends

Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and fluid replacements using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues accurately and efficiently.
- Complete state inspections in accordance with local regulations to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Assist with mechanical repairs and general maintenance tasks to support the service team.
- Utilize automotive service knowledge to recommend additional repairs or maintenance needed for customer vehicles.
- Operate heavy lifting equipment safely during vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Previous dealership or service shop experience is highly preferred.
- Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair.
- Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, alignments, and tire services.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
- Valid state inspection license or ability to obtain one; certification must be maintained as required by law.
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle servicing tasks.
- Dealership experience or service technician background is a plus but not mandatory; a passion for automotive repair is essential.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
