Scale house Attendant
Location: Lacey Springs Rock Quarry
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM (hours may vary based on production needs)

Position Summary
We seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Scalehouse Attendant to join our quarry operations team. The Scalehouse Attendant serves as the first point of contact for truck drivers, customers, and visitors entering and exiting the quarry. This position is responsible for accurately weighing trucks, processing tickets, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer service while supporting daily quarry operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Weigh inbound and outbound trucks using computerized scale systems
- Verify material types, quantities, and customer information
- Communicate with loaders, dispatch personnel, drivers, and management regarding daily operations
- Answer phones and assist customers with orders and inquiries
- Maintain accurate records and enter data into company software systems
- Monitor truck traffic entering and leaving the quarry
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous office, customer service, dispatch, or scalehouse experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via radio
- Must be able to work in an industrial quarry environment
