Aaria Care LLC is seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and motivated Level 6 Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Administrator to lead the daily operations of our newly licensed Level 6 ARF serving adults with developmental disabilities and complex support needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to help build a high-quality residential program from the ground up while making a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals we serve.
Please Note: Because this is a newly licensed Level 6 ARF, applicants must already possess both a valid California Level 6 ARF Administrator Certificate and RSS (Residential Services Specialist) training. These are mandatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership
- Oversee the daily operation of the residential program.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centered services are delivered at all times.
- Promote a positive, professional, and supportive work environment.
Staff Training & Accountability
- Train, coach, and supervise direct support staff.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure staff complete assigned responsibilities.
- Maintain accountability through ongoing observation, documentation, and performance evaluations.
Staffing & Scheduling
- Develop and manage employee schedules.
- Maintain required staffing ratios and ensure coverage for every shift.
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping, overtime, and staffing costs.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with California Community Care Licensing regulations and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
- Maintain licensing standards and prepare for inspections and audits.
- Keep required documentation accurate, complete, and current.
Human Resources
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training employees.
- Address employee performance concerns.
- Administer disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
Client Care & Crisis Management
- Respond promptly to client incidents, behavioral crises, emergencies, and family concerns.
- Coordinate with physicians, regional centers, behavioral professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
Performance & Financial Management
- Manage program budgets and operational expenses.
- Monitor program performance metrics.
- Ensure efficient use of staffing and facility resources while maintaining quality services.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the following qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one year of experience supervising staff and providing specialized services to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Current California Level 6 ARF Administrator Certificate
- Completion of RSS (Residential Services Specialist) Training
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification (or ability to obtain before employment)
- Completion of Pro-ACT Training (or ability to obtain before employment)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Strong knowledge of California Community Care Licensing regulations
- Experience maintaining financial, personnel, and program records
- Ability to develop policies, oversee budgets, supervise staff, and maintain regulatory compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience opening or managing a new residential facility
- Experience working with Regional Centers
- Experience supporting individuals with complex behavioral and medical needs
- Experience with electronic health records, scheduling systems, and documentation compliance
