Position Purpose: To support our customers and Texas Injection Molding manufacturing by
supervising receiving. In addition to management of our remote site inventory of raw materials,
components and packaging.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for company’s receiving of product and other goods.
- Responsible for ensuring all raw materials are accurately weighed and mixed to meet our
customers’ schedules.
- Assists in cross training to ensure staff are knowledgeable to complete the required task.
- Position requires using bar code scanners and computer software to accurately input inventory
counts into our IQ ERP software. Goal is to maintain accurate +/- 1% real time inventory on all raw
materials, finished goods, packaging and components.
- Manages transfers by not allowing entry or exit of raw materials, FG, WIP, components from the
warehouse without proper documentation and weights.
- Ensure that all boxes are properly labeled and in good condition.
- Make sure regrind materials are utilized to maximum level to customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate inventory on all raw materials, finished goods and packaging.
- Work with warehouse manager to have raw materials ready for shipment to main plant.
- Understand how and where product, materials and components will be stored, handled and even
maintained.
- Along with Warehouse Manager, aids Production Planner to insure we have needed materials,
components and packaging.
- Responsible for all incoming receiving of products and keeping records as such.
- Responsible for providing data to quality in regard to incoming inspection
- Oversee truck loading, unloading and pick up, packing operations.
- Assist in conducting quarterly inventory analysis.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse facilities and materials room including zero
pellet policy on manufacturing floor
- Always maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Manufacturing environment including but not limited to warehouse and/or logistics management.
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:
- A positive can-do attitude
- Understanding of company systems and procedures
- Ability to use forklift in a safe manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to make timely fact-based decisions; shows good judgment
- Ability to work independently and handle projects to completion
- Ability to oversee and drive quality improvement projects
