Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandblasting Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces through abrasive blasting techniques to ensure optimal adhesion of coatings and finishes. Responsibilities
- Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently to clean and prepare surfaces on a variety of materials including metal, concrete, masonry, and stucco.
- Inspect surfaces post-blasting to ensure cleanliness and proper texture for coating application.
- Maintain all safety protocols by wearing respiratory protection, gloves, goggles, and other personal protective equipment at all times.
- Prepare work sites by setting up barriers, masking areas, and ensuring proper ventilation for safe blasting operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on blasting equipment and report any malfunctions or repairs needed promptly.
