JOB SUMMARY: Oversees sales operations to ensure the attainment of established sales objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develops and manages sales department:
- Manages the daily activities and performance of sales associates/team
- Oversees lead control, pricing, and customer satisfaction
- Monitors key accounts
- Creates a sales plan and executes the sales strategy
- Coordinates team strategic sales meetings
- Communicates information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to sales associates.
- Prepares and tracks sales budget/forecast.
· Continually gathers, analyzes, and monitors information on competition and market trends; communicates information to sales associates and others as needed.
- Possesses and maintains current and thorough knowledge of industry products and sales information.
· Oversees preparation of sales proposals and tools; participates in sales presentations as needed.
· Works in tandem with other departments to share information and achieve sales goals.
· Provides timely and accurate sales reports to senior management team.
· Attends and participates in business/trade events as required.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Directly supervises employees within the Sales department.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
· Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent preferred
· Minimum five years of related experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Underground construction/utilities
- Heavy construction/equipment
- Trench digging
- Home construction/home services
- Plumbing/sewage (commercial/HOA/residential)
- Construction Shoring
· Proven leadership and business acumen skills
· Well-developed negotiation, project, and account management skills
· Prior supervisory/management experience
· Ability to work with all levels of management
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent problem resolution and consultative sales skills
· Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
· Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization
· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
· Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
· Strong people skills
· Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
