Overview
We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional Evening Shift Sales Associate / Budtender to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment specializing in cannabis products. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating customers, promoting products, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Previous retail or cannabis industry experience are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales expertise and grow within a dynamic industry.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection based on their needs and preferences
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Conduct product demos and educate customers on product features, effects, and usage instructions
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Manage inventory levels through stock checks and replenishment to ensure product availability
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person
- Assist with basic store operations such as opening/closing procedures and maintaining cleanliness
- Support other team members when needed to ensure smooth store operations
Qualifications
- Cash handling and basic retail math skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Ability to perform upselling and merchandising strategies confidently
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
- Experience with product demos and customer education is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills required
- Must be 21 or older
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week during evening shifts
