The Research Engineer i s an entry-level position in the field of research and development. They work under the guidance of senior researchers or engineers to support research projects, conduct experiments, and analyze data. They contribute to the development of new technologies , products, or processes.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Secret level.
Coding knowledge - Python, Linux. Raspberry Pi-Focused
Any experience working with patient evacuation testing and research
Onsite 5 days a week at Fort Novosel, AL.

Collect s and analyze s data using various tools and techniques.
Collaborate s with senior researchers or engineers to develop new technologies , products, or processes.
Perform s literature reviews and stays updated with the latest advancements in the field.
Assist s in the design and construction of prototypes or experimental setups.
Conduct s tests and measurements to evaluate the performance of prototypes or experimental systems.
Document s experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately.
Assist s in troubleshooting technical issues and proposing solutions.
Collaborate s with cross-functional teams to share findings and insights.
Stay s updated with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
E DUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachel or's degre e and zero to two ( 0 - 2 ) years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus . Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic .
